Rands is a small, friendly, family-run language school in Hebden Bridge. The town is in the beautiful Calderdale countryside of West Yorkshire.
Rands provides English language tuition for groups and individuals. Rands provides group lessons and courses, and one-to-one lessons. Rands' teaching prepares you to communicate better in English. Lessons include reading, writing, listening, speaking, vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation.
Students of all levels can study at Rands. The maximum class size is 12. All our students are 18 years or older. The internationally-recognised Cambridge ESOL courses and examinations in KET, PET, FCE, CAE and CPE are available. IELTS courses and examinations are also available for students who hope to gain a place at a British University.
The Director of Rands is Sasha Goldsmith.
Sasha and her teachers are qualified English language tutors. They are mature and experienced.
Sasha believes in helping her students achieve their full potential: As ‘Goldsmith’ she enjoys taking the gold nugget of potential and working with it to enable it to become the object of beauty that is has the potential to be.
Rands provides English language tuition for companies that have employees whose first language is not English. Lessons may also focus on specific areas of English language tuition, for example, the language of health and safety. Teaching takes place on-site.
Hebden Bridge, the “Pennine Centre”, is an English town with character. It is well know for its independent shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants. Hebden Bridge is famous for its Arts Festival and for the many great places to visit and variety of things to do. It is surrounded by the stunning scenery and history of Calderdale in the county of West Yorkshire. Hebden Bridge is just 40 minutes away by train from both Manchester and Leeds, and on the main train line.
