Will my Homestay host cook Halal meat for me?
Yes they will. We have local shop where we can buy Halal meat for your Homestay host to cook for your meals.

How far will my Homestay house be from Rands?
One of the great things about Rands is that our host families’ homes are very close to Rands. You will be able to walk or take a short bus journey (no more than 20 minutes) from your homestay house to school.

How many students are there in each class?
It is great that Rands' class sizes are a maximum of 12 students. This means that you have excellent, personal attention and teaching in an intimate environment. This is a really great way to learn lots of English quickly.

What nationalities are there in Rands classes?
Rands' classes are multi-lingual – they have a great variety of nationalities. You will be in a class where almost everyone speaks a different language, so the common language has to be English. This helps make sure that you practise your English and not your mother tongue!

Does have Rands have any accommodation other than homestay?
Yes, we have some really lovely flats that students can rent to use while they are studying at Rands.
