Rands cancellations and refunds terms and conditions
- Rands reserves the right to change or cancel courses. In this case, any fees will be repaid in full.

Student Cancellation Charges
Cancellations before arrival must be made in writing by letter and addressed to Rands. The registration fee will not be returned and cancellation fees are as follows:
- Up to 31 days before the course starts: - deposit only
- 14 – 31 days before the course starts: - lose 50% course fees
- 0 – 13 days before course starts: - lose 100% course fees
- In the event of a late application standard cancellation fees apply.
Refunds
Tuition fees will not be refunded for early departure, absence or illness once a course has started. No refunds or credit will be given for early departure, absence or illness during the course. You are recommended therefore to take out insurance to cover this.
Exam fees will not be returned to students who decide not to sit the exams for which they have been entered.
Insurance
We strongly recommend that every student takes out insurance to cover such events as: Cancellation or Curtailment of the course booked caused by illness, death or injury of the student or spouse, partner, sibling, parent or child.
- In the event of death or illness, we do not accept responsibility unless the cause is shown to be negligence by Rands or its staff. We do not accept liability for loss of students’ property or for extra expense incurred by circumstances outside our control including strikes, riots, war etc. Please note that these conditions replace any earlier printed version.
